One way to read mail is to use a web client. This program acts as an IMAP client on your behalf and allows you to access your incoming mail and manage your folders as you might from any IMAP client. The client runs on the web server and is set up and configured by the webmaster there.

Our webmail client is Squirrelmail. It has a User Manual and User FAQ. It was chosen because it has relatively low bandwidth requirements and so is suitable for use when you're travelling and get caught on a slow-speed connection. It is probably not a good choice as your main mail client.
