After our dinner in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg, we took off for Strasbourg. Christine, having had more fruits de mer than anybody can handle, collapsed in the car and slept. At which point, Toli was driver and navigator, a true recipe for disaster. Toli went on the highway, but then followed the signs towards Strasbourg, unaware of the French ploy to draw tourists into the boonies. If we had stayed on the highway, we would have reached our destination in an hour and a half; instead, the signs lead us through the scenic route that lasted four hours, took us through snow-covered streets and desolate villages, and landed us in Strasbourg around 1:30am on 1/4. The silver lining? We didn't have to contend with French drivers while getting lost around town! We crashed in bed, and, much like in Brugge, relaxed over the next day. All our photos are from 1/4.

Place Gutenberg
Christine does her best impression of a snooty French lady. A darn good one since she wasn't actually trying... Toli just snapped this photo while she was happily munching.

Old Town
Angels hang from a town building. Toli's opinion is that these are the bad angels whose punishment was death by hanging (hence their white faces). Poor angels.
