in response to my query about the current theories of Thomas
Hollandsworth's lineage.  Doug is organizing DNA testing to sort
out the various Hollandsworth/Hollingsworth origins.

point towards Thomas & William being descended from the John or Charles
Hollingsworth families of Maryland's Eastern Shore (Kent and Queen Anne's
Counties).   Betty Jackson
wrote a recent book <i>COLONIAL MARYLAND FAMILIES OF JOHN AND CHARLES HOLLINGSWORTH</i> on this family, but didn't have enough evidence to make the link
to William (though she found a William that is a good candidate).
