Presented at the Workshop in Infrastructure for Ubiquitous computing for Handheld and Ubiquitous Computing September, 2000 in Bristol, UK. This is a position paper outlining the three key metaphors for Interactive Workspaces: Dynamic Application Composability, Moving Information and Moving Interfaces. It also reviews the software infrastructure pieces being worked on by the Interactive Workspaces project.
