Fog / Smoke (Rob Laddish)

One of the major goals for me in doing the graphics was to understand and play with the various modes offered by the SGI. One of these modes is fog, and we hoped it would help simulate a smoky pool hall. It doesn't work well, but we left it in to allow others to see what the fog effect looks like.

Problems Encountered

It doesn't work well. An animated 3D smoke model that showed the effects of the spotlighting would look MUCH better. It would also take more time that was better spent elsewhere for us. It is left as an exercise to the desperate.
