Demo of quantization levels

CS 248 - Introduction to Computer Graphics
Autumn Quarter, 2000
Marc Levoy

Note: This demo must be viewed on a gamma-corrected display such as our Silicon Graphics workstations. Otherwise, the quantization effects will appear different, and you will draw incorrect conclusions from the demo. (I incorrectly said in class that this demo was suitable for viewing on an ungamma-corrected display such as our PCs.) For more information about gamma correction and viewing web pages, look at our research lab's tutorial about gamma correction.
