Assignment 5: Still Life

I setup this scene by building small stage that I could tie wire to which would be able to hold the fruit pieces (see Setup 1). I then put a piece of foam core in the background to achieve a white background so that the focus would be on the fruit and wine. I chose to light it from above because that had the coolest effect on the wine (glowing bottom). I also chose to align the fruit in this manner so it would frame the wine glass.

For post processing I did a lot of photoshop to remove all the wires, shadows and sticks. I did some cropping and slight contrast adjustment.
