Assignment 7: Night and Color

Here I have tried to create an impression of someone "painting color" into a landscape.

The original photo is one of the shots from my macro assignments. In photoshop I created a I created a duplicate layer and desaturated it completely. Then I added a layer mask and used a soft brush to paint back some portions of the colored layer.

I then added this shot of a hand holding a crayon on a third layer to try and create the desired impression of painting color into the landscape.
