Assignment 5: Still Life

Pedro Silva: Flower Glass

The setting of this photograph took some time to get the right effect. I set two glasses (one fill of water and the other one inside the one with water.

The surface, is a glassy white counter of a washing machine. I wanted to get as much reflection as possible.

The light Inside the empty glass I put a camping headlamp. This is a bright white light, perfect to the effect I was trying to achieve.

To get enough light with the camera I set a long exposure (1/8 sec) and no external light.
